Siyatha TV
Siyatha TV is a Sinhala language channel owned by the Voice of Asia Network (Pvt) Limited, which also runs Varnam TV. Its programme line up varies from morning talk shows and religious programmes to news segments and teledramas. Apart from TV channels, the company manages a few radio channels such as Siyatha FM, Real Radio, Kiss FM and Varnam FM. In July 2010, the premises of Siyatha TV and radio station came under attack by twelve armed men. While the attack was widely condemned by media-affiliated groups such as the National Forum of Journalists and the Sri Lanka Chapter of the South Asian Free Media Association, a definitive reason for the attack was not documented in the press.
